Research training with Professor Levent Altinay

On February 13, 2019, professor Levent Altinay (Oxford Brooks University) held a seminar on the theme «Research training» for doctoral students and young researchers of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University within the framework of «Creotalents» project, «Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise» program funded by British Council. The purpose of training is to conduct qualitative research and writing articles in high – rated international journals.

As editor-in-chief of The Service Industries Journal (SSCI indexed), professor Levent Altinay has shared with young researchers with the experience in writing innovative scientific papers on topical issues, an important functions of research, and discussed the reasons of publication motivations, etc. At the workshop professor presented various strategies and ways of using evidence-based research for policy formulation and substantiation of the experience at the individual, institutional and national levels. The structure of the academic article was also considered in details.
