Tezel Celebi

Tezel Celebi was born on 1969 in Cyprus. He is a graduate of Eastern Mediterranean University,

Software Programming in 1991. He served as software programmer, systems engineer and consultant in many companies in Cyprus and Turkey between 1999 and 2018. He has 37+ years extensive experience in software development, electronics design and manufacturing, robotics and communications as well as artificial intelligence / machine learning systems. From 2018 on he is the owner of Cyprus Robotics, a company developing and manufacturing mobile robots, submersible robots and vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, smart electronic systems and artificial intelligence controlled devices. Celebi is a professional dive instructor, musician as a drummer, and professional cook. He is holding Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certificate on Security and Messaging. Celebi is married and has two children.

Ali Tan Şerbetci

Born in April 1965, Mechanical Engineer (Bs, METU 1989), married with two children, Ali Tan Şerbetci is a robotics engineer dealing mainly with mobile service robots. Business past includes marketing director of PepsiCola Turkey, founder of Stemed (Sterile Medical Disposables), CTO for CTM (Military ordnance).  He is one of the first international distributors of iRobot Corp and Neato Robotics. Main engineering projects include remote controlled large-scale industrial EO sterilisation chamber (1998), remote controlled military EOD robot (explosive ordnance disposal – 2002), first Turkish home cleaning robot design and prototype (2017), autonomous floor maintenance robot (2019 -). Currently Ali is the CEO of Hepsirobot and Ara Robotics, working on autonomous mobile robots, giving lectures in public and universities, publishing technical articles in LinkedIn and Medium.

Company

Cyprus Robotics is an engineering company specialized on mobile service robots, submersible vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles. Founded by Mr. Celebi, it is a small company with vast experience and wide vision.  After working for more than 35 years on different disruptive projects in various companies of their own, he decided to fully dedicate himself in mobile service robots, which is their best practice since 2002. Cyprus Robotics designs, manufactures, sells and maintains various robotic ecosystems with an aim to reduce end-user cost, use of energy and natural resources and manpower.

Products

The main products of Cyprus Robotics includes mobile commercial robotic floor cleaning robot, unmanned underwater robot for mapping and analyzing marine ecosystem, unmanned floating vehicle for analyzing marine pollution. Floor cleaning robot disruptively simplifies floor vacuuming, washing, scrubbing and polishing of large commercial floor spaces using full autonomy.

Underwater mapping and analyzing robot creates map of the sea shell using advanced technologies and is able to overlay visual map over 2-d map which is a new and

advanced technology to help marine biology scientists. Also it is able to analyze sea water instantly and recognize most fish types using onboard artificial intelligence system.

В подготовке приняли участие преподаватели из трех стран Центральной Азии (Казахстана, Узбекистана и Кыргызстана).

Целью обучения является совершенствование профессиональных навыков, повышение эффективности и качества обучения, улучшение навыков использования цифровых технологий и креативных педагогических методов. В ходе обучения были рассмотрены следующие вопросы:

- Новые образовательные, интерактивные и цифровые технологии;

- Переход к обучению, ориентированному на студентов;

- Цифровые учебные пособия;

- Эффективность дистанционного обучения.

В тренинге приняли участие 109 человек из трех стран.

Модераторы тренинга: Доктор Армияш Нурмагамбетова (ЕНУ им. Л.Н. Гумилева) и Магистр делового администрирования Бокоева Айгерим (КНУ имени Ж. Баласагына).

В течение двух месяцев (март-апрель) мы готовили команды для участия в конкурсе в трех номинациях: "Социальное влияние", "Творческое направление" и "Цифровые технологии".

Мы подготовили 13 проектов в популярных и актуальных областях: сельское хозяйство, образование, экология, спорт, медицина и IT.

Конкурсанты успешно прошли первый отборочный этап, и теперь их ждет отборочный тур в Лондоне.
