Bootcamp training for beginning entrepreneurs of the creative industry in the framework of Creotalents project
The Spring season started off on an ambitious note for the Creotalents project. On April 15 the project team (Centre of Entrepreneurship CACTLE of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, University of Birmingham (UK) and Oxford Brooks University (UK)) organized and held an Entrepreneurship Training Bootcamp to help budding entrepreneurs of the creative industry develop their business skills. The event took place in the Hilton Garden Inn hotel as part of the Creative Spark British Council program.
The training served as a platform for training students in a wide spectrum of topics including crowdfunding, attracting investors, problem solving and productive business ideas, audit of resources and opportunities for a unique point of sale, financial planning, customer profiling, marketing value propositions and attracting customers, and innovative management for competitive advantage.
Under the leadership of Dr. Endrit Kromidha the entrepreneurs had the opportunity to try their hand at virtual business (the game of Business INC 3D ) via the mobile app. The training day concluded with a vote for the best crowdfunding company with Campus Coin money and the presentation of three winning ideas.
During this intensive all-day training, participants had the opportunity to obtain the advice and assistance of Creative Spark experts, Dr. Endrit Kromidha and Dr Armiyash Nurmagambetova.
On the aftermath of their training, participants sent in video pitches for the Creotalents team to choose the best videos that will participate in the international competition Big Idea Challenge held by the British Council with a total prize fund of 25 000 pounds.
