Creotalents project was presented at the Global summit “QS in conversation” in Kaunas (Lithuania)
On October 14-15, 2019 Armiyash Nurmagambetova, a head of the Entrepreneurship center CACTLE, coordinator of the Creotalents project Creative Spark program, took part in the Global university summit “QS in conversation. Enhancing Visibility through International Cooperation: Mobility, Recognition, Branding” in Lithuania.
QS in conversation is a unique international summit that focuses on important contemporary issues in international higher education. About 150 delegates attended the summit from countries such as the United States, Great Britain, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Lithuania, Turkey and many others. During two days, more than 30 speakers took part in five different breakout sessions for participants from all over the world.
On the first day of the summit, Creotalents project coordinator Armiyash Nurmagambetova made a presentation at the session entitled
“Skills for future careers: the role of creativity in entrepreneurship”. The report was devoted to development of creative and business skills through entrepreneurial education at the university. The speaker in her speech shared experience in implementing entrepreneurial education in the framework of projects implemented at Eurasian National University. She noted about the unique opportunity for students and future specialists of the creative industry to learn business skills and knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship. It was noticed that the project team has created a training platform, where everyone has access to the courses, not only students, but also those engaged in the creative industry, young entrepreneurs, etc.
