CREATIVE SPARK CONFERENCE in Oxford (UK)

On 2-4 September 2019 Creative Spark Annual Partnership Conference in Oxford organized the partnership meeting with the participation of existing and the new partners. Creotalents Project team represented by Armiyash Nurmagambetova (L.N. Gumilyov ENU) and professor Levent Altinay (Oxford Brookes University) attended to the conference.

One of the main speakers of the event was professor Levent Altinay, who presented the results of the first year of the Creotalents project, shared with the participants the vision of the prospects for the development of creative industries in Central Asia and in particular in Kazakhstan. In addition, he proposed a strategy for the development of the creative sector, developed by the project team.

During the conference, participants exchanged ideas and experiences, discussed action plans and implementation mechanisms for the second year. Partners developed plans to ensure the sustainability and integration of entrepreneurial education in the higher education system.

Creative Spark is a five-year initiative aimed at promoting the development of creative entrepreneurial education by supporting international cooperation between the United Kingdom and the seven countries participating in the program, including educational institutions in Armenia. The project is being implemented by the British Council in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), in the South Caucasus.
